1/8th inch Shohin Bonsai Pine Bark Fines. 3.5 Gallons (808 cu in) . BonsaiJack

One quart bag of 1/8th inch shohin(micro) bonsai soil amendment. See 1/4 inch material for regular size trees. Ready to use! Bonsai Jack products are crushed, screened, rinsed, dried, accurately measured, bagged and shipped to your door. Components are tested for pathogens, PH, CEC(cation exchange capacity), bulk density, moisture retention, evaporation and nematodes. Bonsai Jack aggregates are used for many soil applications including bonsai, succulent, orchids and cacti. Mix with other ingredients to create a bonsai soil specific to your needs. This is not a ready to use complete soil mix. You are purchasing one ingredient only. Did you know? Up to 50 percent of Bonsai Jack raw mine material is not suitable for bonsai and is discarded during production. This ensures you receive a ready to use consistently sized aggregate. Bonsai Jack products are not simply repackaged raw mine material with a guestimated volume. An average of 18 minutes is spent processing each bag of aggregate before it reaches your door. Some aggregates require 20 minutes per gallon. A perfect tree in the perfect soil can still suffer. Factors such as water PH and fertilizer are additional variables to consider. We provide products backed by real science. Its important to apply this science to your local environment. What works in one city may not work the best in another. All of Bonsai Jack soil products are state inspected and tested on a regular basis in order to comply with interstate regulations. This ensures you receive material free of dangerous pathogens that can damage or kill bonsai trees. This is also required to maintain nursery stamps that permit interstate shipments. These regulations play an important part in preventing the spread of harmful critters such as IFA’s (Imported Fire Ant’s), Nematodes and Wood Borers. This also provides some residual pathogen control for your bonsai.

Management intensity affects density fractions of soil organic matter from grazed bahiagrass swards [An article from: Soil Biology and Biochemistry]

This digital document is a journal article from Soil Biology and Biochemistry, published by Elsevier in 2006. The article is delivered in HTML format and is available in your Amazon.com Media Library immediately after purchase. You can view it with any web browser.

Description:
Soil fertility and agricultural systems sustainability depend upon soil organic matter (SOM). The effects of pasture management intensity on SOM are not well understood. The objectives of this study were to determine the effect of management intensity of ‘Pensacola’ bahiagrass (Paspalum notatum Flugge) pastures on the light density fraction of SOM (LD-SOM), the fraction that responds most readily to changes in pasture management practices. Pastures were grazed from 2001-2004 at four management intensities, defined as the combination of stocking method, N fertilization, and stocking rate (SR). Treatments were continuously stocked (CS) Low (40kg Nha^-^1yr^-^1 and SR of 1.4 animal units ha^-^1 (AU=500kg live weight)); CS Moderate (120kg N and SR of 2.8AU); CS High (360kg N and SR of 4.2AU); and rotationally stocked with a 7-d grazing period and 21-d resting period (360kg N and SR of 4.2AU). Composite soil samples (0-8cm) from each pasture were collected in 2004. Management intensity did not affect C and N concentration in the bulk soil, but it did impact C and N concentrations of size fractions of LD-SOM. In particles from 250 to 2000@mm, both C and N concentration were greater with increasing management intensity. In particles<53@mm, however, the lowest management intensity presented the greatest soil C and N concentrations. Increasing C and N in slow turn over SOM fractions with increased management intensity may result in greater C sequestration and potential soil fertility, but the increased likelihood of negative environmental impact and the questionable sustainability of high N fertilizer rates must also be considered.

O3 PURE Color Safe FARMERS BLEACH Earth Friendly Oxi Boost Multi Purpose Non-Chlorine Oxygen Cleaner with Hydrogen Peroxide and Sodium Carbonate

O3-PURE FARMERS BLEACH Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate

Unlike other low priced natural bleach alternatives available online, O3 Pure Bleach contains the dual action of sodium percarbonate – an additional compound of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide. If your natural bleach doesn’t advertise that it contains these ingredients, your only getting half of the cleaning power. O3 Pure combines the dual properties of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide, to provide significant benefits when alkalinity and bleaching is required.

The combination of the 2 in 1 product, in addition to a high available oxygen content and high bulk density, allows O3-PURE FARMERS BLEACH to improve detergent performance while reducing the need for additional builders and consequently the environmental impact of the formulated detergents.

O3-PURE FARMERS BLEACH Sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate has minimal impact on the environment, decomposing after use into water, oxygen and soda ash.

Replaces conventional bleach.
